[Book Blogger Hop] Side Quest #7

Happy Friday, booknerds! Guess what?

giphy (24)

“I said brrr . . . it’s cold in here.”

Yes, frigid. -6F and falling. And all I could think of is a bunch of cheerleaders in next to nothing, complaining about the weather πŸ™‚

Anywho . . .

Here we are again for another round of the Book Blogger Hop, hosted by Billy @ Ramblings of a Coffee Addicted Writer. The premise is simple – each week there is a question. And each week, we answer said question. If you’re feeling ambitious, submit a question and you could see it on the hop πŸ™‚ Oh, and don’t forget to go hopping! That’s the best part!

Our question this week comes from Maria @ A Night’s Dream of BooksΒ . . .

Do you prefer to blog about (a) specific book genre(s), or do you have an eclectic blog?

The Ginger Mom? Oh, absolutely eclectic. I don’t think there’s any ONE genre we fall into. Crystal and I blog about kidlit, romance, time travel, mystery, audiobooks, mythology, fairytales, and we evenΒ threw in a zombie book! How’s that for eclectic?

giphy (25)

When defining our “niche”, we can only get as specific as saying we blog about books. We can’t really narrow it down any more than that because WE LOVE THEM ALL.

How about you? Eclectic or one genre? Any of you booknerds out there writers as well? We would love to hear the answer in the comments πŸ™‚

Happy Friday!

  1. I try to be eclectic, although I do not have to try very hard. I tend to read Urban Fantasy for a bit lighter reading, love science fiction, focus on classics, keep up with new releases (or try), actively read non-fiction of all sorts, and try to continually expand what I read. I’m not huge on Young Adult, yet I still seem to read a fair bit of it. The only genre I do not enjoy is the poorly written indie authors – the well-written indie authors are awesome though!!

    1. Do you write just poetry or more? Right now I am working on a fairytale retelling sorta like the Lunar Chronicles in that it has multiple books with different characters but that is the end of the similarities lol.
