Thanksgiving has passed so we can officially start talking about it – Christmas is coming!
Christmas carols (scratch that, I can’t carry a tune). Charlie Brown. More snow. Christmas lights and trees that little fingers are going to get into (we have a 2-year-old this year . . . it’s inevitable). There is something so magical about December to me. Seeing snow fall for the first time – before the plows come through and make it all brown and gross. Hot cocoa as you’re snuggled up inside with a good book.
Books! Focus 🙂 This is about the 12 Books of Christmas Challenge – hosted by Just Another Girl and Her Books. It runs from November 24 to December 24. All you have to do is make a TBR (Goodreads works. Anywhere, really – just don’t forget to link it up so people know you’re in!). Let people know you’re joining by tweeting #12BooksOfXmas. Then read! (Make sure to link up your reviews and stick to winter holiday books – Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, etc). That’s it 🙂
So, what am I going to read? I am shooting for Elf Status (1-4 books) and this is what’s tentatively on my list . . .
That’s what’s on my TBR. It’s not ambitious but they all look like fun Christmas reads 🙂 Want to join in the fun yourself? Head on over and sign up!
See you there!
