#IMWAYR

I haven’t participated in #IMWAYR since . . . March! If you’re new and don’t quite know what that is, It’s Monday, What Are You Reading? is a meme hosted by Kathryn @ The Book Date. It’s a place to showcase the books you read last week, are reading this week, and think you might read next week.

So, let’s take a peek at what I’m reading . . .

Last Week . . .

I finished listening to (and reviewed) the first book in the exciting Lunar Chronicles series by Marissa Meyer. This was my second time through the book because it’s been so long since I read it. Now, I’m off to continue the story withย Scarlet!

I also readย Spark by J.M. Hackman for review. I don’t want to say too much about this book because my review hasn’t gone up yet but I was extremely intrigued from page one and devoured this book in one day (hey – with two small children, that’s saying something!)

This Week . . .

This week, I am diving intoย Bring Me Their Hearts by Sara Wolf, for a blog tour on Thursday. It’s a 400 page book so I will be spending every spare minute on it, but it looks intriguing and I can’t wait to see how it plays out ๐Ÿ™‚

I will also be continuing to listen toย Scarlet by Marissa Meyer (Book 2 in the Lunar Chronicles). I am already over 3 hours into the book and extremely glad that the entire thing doesn’t revolve around Scarlet. I loved Cinder’s character, as well as Prince Kai. They make their appearances in this book, which cuts some of the darkness from Scarlet’s point of view. She’s upset that her grandmother is missing and, as much as I am enjoying the story, I want to hear what happens to Cinder!

Next Week . . .

I am just trying to get through this week, so we’re not even going to touch next week. But thanks for asking, anyway!
