This book was hilarious! Since finishing it, I have already purchased two more Geronimo Stilton books to read to my kids. I loved all the mayhem and adventure! Each time you think things are as bad as they can get, Grandfather William makes things worse. Or something happens that adds to Geronimo’s discomfort 🙂 I loved the Egyptian professor and his adventure with camel dung. So entertaining!
And the pages were so much fun to read 🙂
The little illustrations and changes in font made things stand out and catch your eye exactly when they were supposed to. This is a series I will definitely be collecting for my kids (and myself!). What an author, that Geronimo! A very talented mouse 🙂
I love books that have a variety of covers, be they different countries or different formats (many books have a different cover for the Kindle as opposed to the hardcover). It’s fascinating to see the different interpretations of each story. Personally, I love Geronimo in the blue cover, but the scroll on the orange polka dot cover (with the Egyptian-type text) really appeals to me. Most times, I would love a mixture of the two, though I do prefer the blue cover to the others.
I received a complementary copy of The Curse of the Cheese Pyramid via NetGalley in exchange for my honest review. The gifting of this eARC in no way influenced my review and all opinions expressed within are entirely my own.
I have heard many bloggers say that Geronimo Stilton was a staple in their childhood reading. Personally, I never heard of him until I saw this book on NetGalley. How about you? Have you read The Curse of the Cheese Pyramid? What about the other Geronimo Stilton books? Let us know in the comments below and we’ll have a little chat! And, as always, thanks for visiting!
