Week Two is done. I have written nothing further on my Urban Fantasy retelling of Aladdin and the Lion King. I love the story but, at the moment, I have no idea how to smash the two stories together. On top of that, I have no plot whatsoever.
Enter a country song that I CAN’T GET OUT OF MY HEAD!
I have had this song playing in my head over and over and OVER for about a week, leading me to believe that I have a new set of characters SCREAMING TO GET OUT and have their story told. So, change of plans. I am now writing a Second Chance Romance (one of my absolute favorite genres to read).
My stats for the week . . .
Hey, at least the Camp site says I will finish it . . . in February of 2019!
In other news – thanks to a completely unexpected post by Darque Dreamer Reads, I have found an AWESOME INDIE COMMUNITY!
If you’ve been around the Ginger Mom at all, you probably know that Crystal and I ADORE Indie authors. So this author & blogger community is like a gold mine to us! It’s a place for authors to find reviewers for their books and for bloggers to find amazing books to review. If you’re already a part of this awesome community, you can find Crystal and I HERE (stop by and say hi!).
This week, we also made one very exciting change to the Ginger Mom . . .
Thanks to the incredibly talented artist at PencilMaster, we have a one-of-a-kind, GORGEOUS new banner. This is something Crystal and I have wanted for the longest time and we are so excited to finally be able to share it with you!
That’s our week 🙂 What did yours look like?
I’m linking up with Kimberly at the Caffeinated Reviewer
for her Sunday Post Meme 🙂
Happy reading, lovely booknerds ❤
