A Read-a-Thon TBR + Blogger Pride

I know I promised you guys a TBR for the AtoZ Read-a-Thon. And we’ll get there, I promise. But before we do, I want to introduce (or reacquaint) you to a blogger who not only put out a request on Twitter to submit your favorite post so she could do a spotlight, but actually followed through with that. Crystal and I submitted our Origin Story to her list and as I was getting ready to post this (middle of the night, two sick little ones FINALLY asleep and my sick self about to pass out), I saw a new notification from A Ravenclaw Library blog. Lacy (the creator of the blog) had tagged us in her list, along with a few others. I was floored. We have been tagged before and each time, it stuns me. You (our bloggy and non-bloggy readers) are INCREDIBLE. We could not do what we do (ramble on about books we adore and nobody’s heard of!) without you.

So . . . in the spirit of her amazing awesomeness, I have decided to keep her Blogger Pride going. Crystal and I had been tossing around the idea of doing a Blogger Spotlight here at the Ginger Mom (with all the sick, it just got put on the back burner). And, I think we’ll still go ahead with that (more details to come) but for now, we are going to carry on Lacy’s Blogger Pride torch.

The first blogger we are going to recognize is Dani @ Perspective of a Writer. Why? Because I adore this woman. She is one of the most creative, supportive, and genuinely kind bloggers I have met. And she is so similar to me – a writer, and an INTROVERT (hey, we gotta stick together!)

Next, we have Ashley and Sabrina from 5171 Miles Book Blog. These two started out as pen pals and their friendship (and later the blog) just blossomed from there. And when you put a Texan and a German together, you get a quirky, entertaining creation. Their blog is so much fun to read and I can’t wait to go binge-read all the posts I have been missing while the sick had us in its hold.

Now . . . onto the Read-a-Thon TBR!

If you’re wondering why we’re jumping back to the old graphics (because my obsessive brain would be), Crystal and I decided to keep all things AtoZ Challenge in our classic Ginger Mom rainbow theme. This is HOPEFULLY going to help make it easier for you guys to spot the challenge posts and the everyday posts. Everything else will receive the new theme.

So, the TBR?

I am currently halfway through How to Date a Nerd by Cassie Mae and LOVING it! Seriously, it’s about a popular girl who used to be a nerd but now is a closet nerd, attracted to her ex-best friend / neighbor nerd. Will Geek Zoe come out to play or will Popular Zoe shove her back into the closet? I am racing to the end to find out!

I am also listening to Feudlings by Wendy Knight on Audible. If there is one author I can’t get enough of, it’s Wendy. I have a paperback copy of Feudlings, as well as a Kindle, Nook, and Audible copy. That’s how much I LOVE THIS BOOK! And the narrator – Asia Bryant – is phenomenal. But, this isn’t a review. I am halfway through this book, as well, and hoping to finish it during the Read-a-Thon.

I’m going to be a bit conservative with this Read-a-Thon because, let’s face it, this momma hasn’t slept much in over a week. Hopefully, by next week we will be back to our Regularly Scheduled Blogging. Until then, please forgive us our absence. In the meantime, have fun reading!

What are you reading this week?
