I was tagged for this a while back on Twitter. Unfortunately, because of Lady Quinn vs. the USB Stick, I don’t remember who tagged me. (if you’re reading this, wonderful tagger, please let me know so I can give you the credit you deserve! And thanks for the tag 🙂 )
I am choosing to do this tag TBR-style because let’s face it, with 3,000+ on my Kindle, I have a lot of reading to catch up on. So, here they are 🙂 My name in TBR books . . .
My True Love Gave to Me by Various Authors
Elements (The Biodome Chronicles #2) by Jesikah Sundin
Gone by Michael Grant
(The) Afterlife of Lizzie Monroe by Kelly Martin
Night of Cake and Puppets by Laini Taylor
My True Love Gave to Me has only been on my TBR for a short while (I just ordered it a couple weeks ago) but I am in the Christmas spirit right now and this one looks amazing! And I’m going to recommend the paperback because that’s what I have and oh, it’s so pretty.
Earlier this year, I reviewed Legacy by Jesikah Sundin and it was such a great read. I have had the second book, Elements, sitting on my TBR for a few months now and I am really eager to pick it up (and now that I have finally managed to control myself when it comes to signing up for book tours, I have the time to read it!)
Gone by Michael Grant has been on my shelf for so long that I have actually forgotten what it’s about. I’m pretty sure it’s dystopian, which of course is why I wanted to read it in the first place. Other than that . . . um . . . nope. Hopefully Amazon can tell you more than I can. At least, until I read it 🙂
The Afterlife of Lizzie Monroe by Kelly Martin is my A book and it looks so amazing! Again, this one has been on my TBR for ages and I can’t wait to pick it up 🙂
And finally, I can’t wait to read Night of Cake and Puppets by Laini Taylor (after I finish the other books in the Daughter of Smoke and Bone series, of course). And I think this one centers around Zuzana (correct me if I’m wrong, please). She was one of my favorite characters in Daughter of Smoke and Bone. Not to mention, the narrator in the audio version portrayed her perfectly! So this one looks promising 🙂 As if that weren’t reason enough – look at that cover! Creepy.
So there you have it. My name – Megan – in books that have been on my TBR pile for longer than they should be 🙂
