Sky Lacroux has finally realized her dream and opened her own tattoo shop in Provincetown, Massachusetts. She’s happy as can be, preparing the shop for its grand opening and renting a cottage in the Seaside community while renovations to her new apartment are being completed. The only thing missing is the one thing she longs for, and has no control over – love.

Sawyer Bass, a professional boxer, plays his guitar at a local bar to escape the painful reality of his father’s deteriorating health and a recent health warning of his own. But when he spots a stunning brunette across teh room, escaping reality goes out the window, and the beautiful woman becomes the focus of his next song – and maybe even the rest of his life.

When Sawyer walks into Sky’s tattoo shop and sees the woman from the bar – Sky – the chemistry between them is instant. Sawyer is everything Sky could ever hope for in a man. He’s honest, loving, sensitive, and potently virile – but boxing goes against everything Sky believes in. The closer they become, the more she realizes that her alpha boxer is waging his own emotional battle – only the battle she thinks he’s waging isn’t the one that threatens to tear them apart.

Nights at Seaside is the sweet edition of the steamy romance novel Seaside Nights by Melissa Foster.

Megan's review

Let’s just say that I loved Sky and Sawyer so much I will be picking up Seaside Nights by Melissa Foster to see just how steamy things get between them 🙂

As I said, I adored Sky and Sawyer. Each time I read a book by this woman, I think I can’t love any other characters as much as the ones in that book. Then I read another one. And I love them more. Vicious cycle. Totally worth it.

I think the best part about these two is that neither of them is perfect. They aren’t Barbie and Ken. And their relationship isn’t super perfect, either. One of the biggest problems Sky has with Sawyer is his career. She can’t get behind him being a boxer.

Considering the intense connection they have almost immediately, I don’t understand her hesitance. I don’t care for boxing (don’t hate me – I think it’s a little boring) but would I push away what could be true love because of it? No. I am a hopeless romantic . . . love wins over all.

That’s what I enjoyed the most about this book. Yes, there are issues that the characters have to overcome but it is, above all, one of the sweetest, most romantic love stories I have read in a very long time.

You know how we love giveaways around here . . . well, there is a really exciting one to go along with this tour! The lovely author is giving away FIVE e-copies of the second book in this Sweet series, Dreaming at Seaside. So don’t forget to enter the GIVEAWAY before you go!
