Flossy is the bossiest girl around. She’s bossy at home and she’s bossy at school. She’s bossy with her friends, and sometimes she’s even bossy to her teacher! Well-meaning Flossy doesn’t understand why no one will listen to her.

Then Flossy meets Edward, a boy who is just as bossy as Flossy. But the collision of these two strong-willed forces has a surprising result: they learn how to be a friend.

Even though this book is a little bit above Mister Chu’s age level (he’s only 2, going on 3), we really enjoyed it. Flossy was so bossy to everyone and then she meets a boy who’s even bossier than she is! It was adorable. I loved how Edward really gave Flossy a run for her money 🙂 And the illustrations were adorable. I have to say, I am very partial to Flossy because, like me, she’s a ginger! Sometimes we gingers just need to show everyone else who’s boss 🙂 And the illustrations had a very hand-drawn quality to them, which is very different from most of the KidLit books we read. It was a refreshing change! This book is a great read for kids of all ages. It gets the Mister Chu Stamp of Approval!

Thank you to Paulette Bogan and iRead Book Tours for the complimentary copy we received for this tour! It’s one that will be on our shelves for many years to come 🙂
